  • Hours 1-3:
    Laura assails Chris Christie
Laura: "Governor Chris Christie thinks he's brave because he can deride the NRA for using President Obama's daughters in their commercial. I guess ONLY Obama can employ the children to tug at heartstrings. Christie seems to be evolving in the Colin Powell vein."

  • Hours 1-3:
Sen. Rand Paul responds to Sen. Kaine's race card play
Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) gave a wide-ranging interview, during which he responded to Kaine's allegation that Paul was using "codewords" to attack President Obama's gun violence executive orders. "Senator Kaine is confused about his history. He needs to read his Jefferson, he needs to read our Founding Fathers, who were very concerned about the separation of power." He continued, "This has nothing to do with President Obama or that he's a Democrat. In particular, it's insulting to say it has anything to do with the color of his skin."

  • Hours 1-3:
Sen. Paul voices disapproval of Gov. Chris Christie's comments, and Republicans who can't control their spending
Paul also warned Christie that his criticism of the NRA, as well as his criticism of fellow Republicans over the Sandy relief bill, would come back to haunt him if he made a presidential run in 2016. "I think criticizing the Second Amendment movement and the over-the-top 'give me my money' stuff, 'I want all sixty billion now or I'll throw a tantrum,' I don't think that's going to play well in the Republican primary." Finally, Paul argued that Congress shouldn't raise the debt ceiling to force spending cuts. "I don't trust any of these people, Republican or Democrat, to do a good job with our money."
