  • Hour 1:
GOP needs to stick to their guns
GOP needs to stick to their guns

In the wake of Mitt Romney's devastating loss to Barack Obama, the Republican Party has offered a number of reasons for the GOP's defeat, in addition to countless ways to solve the problem of dearth of votes. In a panic, some suggested that the best solution is to alter conservative principles to make them more appealing to select minority groups, like granting amnesty to illegal immigrants It is important to have considered debates, but to rush out and act rash in an attempt to chase down a few more votes is a fools' errand, and will solve nothing in the long run.

Congressman Mike Kelly, U.S. Representative for Pennsylvania's 3rd district and member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, spoke to Laura about his continued quest to uncover the truth on the Benghazi attack. Rep. Kelly said he thinks Susan Rice's résumé shows that she is more than qualified to do her job, and that President Obama needn't have rushed to defend her. The brunt of the blame falls completely on the shoulders of the Secretary of State, the Department of State, and the President of the United States.

  • Hour 2:
    The attack on religion continues...
    The attack on religion continues...

In Santa Monica, Nativity scenes erected by Christian groups have been banned. At Dartmouth College, an atheist group is going to hold a "roast" of Mother Teresa, whom they call "a lying, thieving Albanian dwarf." Rather than allow those who believe in a season of peace, family, love, and giving, the government will make sure those who hate God shuts down the believers.

Michael Oren, Israeli ambassador to the United States, came on the show to talk about the conflict in Israel. Hamas, Ambassador Oren said, is doing everything in its power to maximize Israeli casualties, while Israel is doing its best to achieve peace through diplomacy. He stressed that above all, Israel desired peace, but any country would respond with force after being continually attacked by rockets.

  • Hour 3:
    An "inn"-side look into hotels
    An "inn"-side look into hotels

Jacob Tomsky spent more than a decade in the hospitality industry, and is a dedicated veteran of the hotel business. In a new tell-all book, Tomsky reveals what he's learned over the years, and he shares the dirty (literally) secrets that hotels don't want their guests to know. His shocking revelations would make anyone think twice about sleeping in a hotel, and even the most luxurious, expensive resorts aren't exempted. Your best bet for avoiding hotel antics, says Tomsky, is to tip well.

Rachel Campos-Duffy, pundit and frequent co-host of The View, offered her view of the Republicans' rush to pander to Latinos. As a Mexican-American woman, Duffy said the quick-fix immigration and amnesty solution being offered by many conservatives is not the answer. Immigration reform isn't the top issue for Latinos, she said, and so the GOP must actually address Latinos specifically about what matters to them: the economy and family values.
