Let's discuss this on Facebook
. Watch Sen. Rand Paul and Sen. Marco Rubio at CPAC, then share your impression. Who is better suited to lead the Republican Party leading up to the 2016? Do you agree that a Republican who distances himself from the policies of George W. Bush (a good, patriotic man), will have a better chance at beating the Democrats? Mitt Romney chose not to do this. John McCain was largely an extension of Bush 43. The GOP in 2006 chose not to do this. We have to come to terms with what happened to conservatism during the Bush years if we are ever to rebuild this movement. It's not about recriminations or blame for blame's sake. It's about being honest about where, how and why we lost before we are told once again, another Bush is the only candidate who is "electable" in 2016.
