Will Congress pursue a lame-duck session effort to push through immigration reform?
Posted by Staff
While Speaker Boehner has put the brakes on immigration reform, the fight is far from over as new fears arise that Congress will perhaps pursue a lame-duck session effort to pass immigration reform. Congressman Chaffetz expressed great concern about this very issue today on the show: “Anytime Congress is in session, duck and cover, America. And when it's a lame duck? It's even worse. So who knows? That's a long ways off, but still, anything in the lame duck is scary.”

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, who has proven himself to be a true advocate of his constituents and has stood firm in his effort to protect of American wages and jobs against amnesty, pledged his continued support-- going so far as to assert that a lame duck session effort to push through immigration reform is, “not going to happen. This issue is not going to be dealt with by this current Congress.” Facebook Fark Furl
