It is usually the most simple of questions that cause candidates to trip up. Last night, this question easily stole the show.
No moderator will ever ask this question. You will also never hear it at a Democratic debate or a debate between party nominees. It is, however, the fundamental question of this election season.
It is such a simple question, yet no one could answer it. Platitudes ruled the roost in response.
However, does anyone believe that Obama would let you keep more than any of the eight people on the stage? In these times when Americans are resorting to credit for basic necessities, when businesses are being targeted for being successful, when earning enough to buy a corporate jet is looked down upon by our president, this is the type of question that should be asked.
My only question is what else does this kid want to know? He has already proven himself far more capable than the debate moderators this year.
