The War on Common Sense
Posted by Staff
With Missouri Governor Jay Nixon calling for a “vigorous prosecution” of Officer Darren Wilson, how is a fair trial even possible? The prejudgment of this officer is despicable. What happened to innocent until proven guilty? The public outcry and media firestorm in Ferguson has made it difficult enough for a possible fair trial without the governor coming out and calling for a guilty verdict. The accusation of a civil rights violation in Ferguson has been echoed throughout the protests and in the media. However, isn’t the real civil rights violation the beheading of James Foley and the war on Christians in the Middle East? There is a war on the middle class, a war on traditional family, a war on Christianity, and clearly in light of the reaction in Ferguson, a war on common sense.
