The GOP Retreats... from its constituents
Posted by Staff
Welcome to the sweater convention! Oh, wait-- no, that’s just the GOP retreat. Republicans met yesterday at their annual retreat to discuss immigration reform, but based on the extreme color coordination on display, you would have thought it was an Andy Williams Christmas Special (reminiscent of Hillary’s multi-colored pantsuits).

Can you guess what cliché the Republican Party led with in the preamble of their so-called immigration reform "principals" [sic]? The opening line of their post-mortem read: “Our nation's immigration system is broken and our laws are not being enforced.”

This immigration reform proposal is both infuriating and heartbreaking. The GOP establishment has imbibed the Obama Kool-Aid, and now has resorted to (desperately and pathetically) accusing conservatives (who fight against amnesty) of being "racist". And now, we true conservatives are left asking ourselves a simple question: "How did we get here?" How did we, as a party, become so divided that our own members have turned on us, and have begun employing the same vile and hateful attacks you see being hurled at us by those over at MSNBC?
