Why is Obama hiding behind the Bushes?
Look, I think G.W. Bush is a great guy, but I think it's high time he learns the importance of being missed. Do we really need Bush to come out of hiding to give us his "insights" into immigration? He said it himself... he "made the decision to get off the stage" and retire! So why not stay that way?
Rep. Barletta demands GOP consider the extreme costs of immigration reform
Rep. Lou Barletta (R-PA) announced today that we are just spinning our wheels on immigration. Barletta says that no one supporting the reform in Washington has yet explained what they're going to do about the 22 million Americans that will be out of work. Nor have they yet explained why "they're ignoring the suffering of our legal citizens and are instead aiding the suffering of those who willingly broke our laws and came here illegally." Too many politicians are coming to this issue with a focus on "what is the best interest of their national party and not what is the best interest of our nation!" Barletta is sick of the tired, partisan politics underlying this reform. Note to Boehner: no bill, no conference, just the fence! (Laura 365 Exclusive) Lt. Gov. Dewhurst stands with Texas
Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst (R-TX) explains that he's fighting the good fight and is working tirelessly against those who strive to pervert and tarnish all that is wonderful about Texas. In his open address to those who are working to turn Texas blue, he declares, "over my dead, cold body!". Texas, he explains, should not be corrected, but should be the model for the rest of the country! When asked what he makes of those who don't support Texas and its devotion to pure conservative values, Dewhurst took little notice and retorted back, "So what if Obama doesn't like us in TX... we don't like him in Washington."
