Top level White House Officials absent at Thatcher funeral

"The fact that this administration sent no one to this funeral is an insult considering all Margaret Thatcher did for the world and for this country," Laura affirms. "Considering all the time the Obamas hang out with people, go on vacation, and golf with Tiger Woods, it is absurd that not a single high profile administration official could go to the funeral," Laura exclaims.
Laura presses Sen. Rubio on deficiencies in the Immigration Bill

Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) says that his immigration proposal shows liberals moving more to the right rather than him shifting to the left. "The fact of the matter is that this bill reflects principles that I laid out in January that are different from the President's principles," says Rubio. Laura expresses concern over the stipulation that immigrants had to be here by December 31, 2011 and that the burden of proof is on them. She presses, "will there be an affidavit written by them and two friends?" Rubio responds that it would have to be documentation such as utility bills, doctor records, or bank statements, but Laura remains skeptical.

Sen. Johnson: immigration reform should occur one issue at a time

Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) is against a comprehensive immigration bill. "I hate the word comprehensive. We should take these components on a step-by-step basis and pass them in the House," he explains. The length of the proposal particularly worries Johnson. "I'm sick of these thousand page bills...these are not laws, they are frameworks to create more regulation."
