Despite President Obama's attempt to pivot to issues like "income inequality," or its claims that the website is "working for the vast majority of users," the facts on the ground regarding his signature legislation Obamacare are likely to get worse. His magic want has lost its magical powers. Consider what Politico is reporting:
At the rate the signups are going — even with the speedier, newly functioning Obamacare website — the administration has a vast distance to travel before the estimated 4 to 5 million people with canceled policies get new health coverage.
In fact, health care experts say, it’s not out of the question that the Obama administration could face the worst-case scenario on Jan. 1: the number of uninsured Americans actually goes up.
So what will Sen. Harry Reid say then? Will he continue to deny the obvious as he did two days ago in a local television interview? Will he continue the lie that was hatched by the Obama Administration three years ago that "you can keep your policy if you like it?" From now on, Reid should be referred to as the Baghdad Bob of Obamacare.
