Suddenly, Elizabeth Warren isn't a minority

The Washington Post reports:
Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), whose biggest campaign controversy was over claims about her Native American heritage, will not be identified as a minority in the Senate Historical Office’s official directory.
The Boston Herald’s Hillary Chabot repeatedly pressed Warren during her campaign against then-Sen. Scott Brown (R) for claiming minority status as a Harvard professor without proof she is 1/16th Cherokee.
On Tuesday, under the headline “Liz won’t beat drum,” Chabot reported that Warren, who was sworn in last week, had not sought to identify herself as a minority in the official directory. |
