Ben Affleck – future senator?
Don't rule it out... The actor is on a list of possible successors to Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry, according to CBS Boston.
Political analyst Jon Keller has heard Affleck’s name “tossed around” among others – including Scott Brown, Rep. Mike Capuano, Rep. Ed Markey and Rep. Stephen Lynch – to take Kerry’s seat, he reported on Tuesday. If President Barack Obama does appoint Kerry as secretary of state, as expected, a special election will be held to fill his spot. |
