Today on The Laura Ingraham Show, Governor Scott Walker explained how the Obama Administration is not doing enough to curb the sentiments of radical Islam from spreading into the United States. He warned that the United States could be headed down the same path as France or Belgium, where the failure to assimilate Muslim immigrants has led to pockets of radicalized communities and a rise in homegrown terror.
Walker: "People recognize, particularly in the last year, that the threat is not something that’s just overseas, that when you look at the problems with the Islamic state, with Al-Qaida, with others around the world, this is not something that just about containment in the middle east, this is something that creeping closer to Americans as we’ve seen in France, as we’ve seen in Belgium, as we’ve seen in Canada. In fact a month or so ago, we saw even a snip it of it to be present in places like Texas. I do think there is a growing concern in America with this administration, this country is not doing enough to ensure that radicals, Islamic terrorism, doesn’t grow out of the spots that Syria, Iraq, and Iran for that matter and elsewhere around the world." Walker also told Ingraham how he believes his populist message will fare against the Marco Rubio/Jeb Bush, Establishment money machine.
Walker: "70% of our donors our people giving $75 or less so it is not the big donors it is the everyday average American citizens who say we need someone who will stand up and fight the fight on common sense conservative reform and then win not just talk about it and actually get it done and that’s the appeal [13:06]
