Promises broken on Gitmo, networks silent

| This is another great piece by our friends at Newsbusters exposing a media still slavishly devoted to President Obama. Promises about unemployment levels, the deficit, transparency, bipartisanship, and closing Gitmo were all out the window in the first term, yet most in the media made excuses for the president's lapses. Righteously indignant, Obama on numerous times declared that he would close Gitmo, which he claimed was a "recruiting tool" for terrorists. Fast forward four years, reality trumps left-wing rhetoric, but he gets a pass. Read more. |
