Obama flies solo-- he has disregarding Congress, he has ignored the Constitution, and, now, he is weighing a decision to run
around the rulings of the highest court of the land-- completely unfazed by SCOTUS' attempt to rein in his overreach. Obama asserted yesterday that he would do anything necessary “within Constitutional boundaries” on the immigration issue. What a joke! Does anyone believe that for a second? Even though Obama taught a class on constitutional law at the University of Chicago, he must have missed the lecture on what the framers intended. Obama will not stop at the Constitution just like illegal immigrants don’t stop at the border. If anyone believes that Obama would undertake good faith enforcement of any new immigration reform, they are deceiving themselves. Obama only cares about his ultimate end goal of remaking the nation.
But where have the Republicans been on this issue? Republicans have not been taking the immigration catastrophe seriously. In fact, they have repeatedly entertain the idea of working with Obama on immigration amnesty. What America needs now is an opposition party that will stand up for the people and hold Obama accountable, and John Boehner, Marco Rubio or Paul Ryan clearly aren't cutting it.
