This is another issue--the courts--that the GOP better be prepared to discuss in the coming elections. By the end of his second term, Obama could remake a significant portion of the judiciary from the district court to the Supreme Court. Mitt Romney for some reason largely steered clear of discussing the huge consequences of this. How many times did we hear the GOP discuss the Supreme Court, or any federal courts for that matter? This must change. We must educate the voting public on the key cases, costs, and constitutional aftershocks of activist judges.
