Here's the latest attempt from a GOP senator to analyze what the House should do on immigration. While I respect Sen. (and Dr.) Tom Coburn's take on many issues, this is one of the least impressive articles I've ever read from a sitting Senator. Coburn admits that Obama doesn't care if the border is enforced, and then he says the House should make him care. How are they supposed to do that?
Surely the one thing all Republicans should be able to agree on is that Obama is acting in bad faith and that he will never enforce the border. As long as that is the case, this whole conversation is a waste of time, unless you really think that we have a labor shortage and that wages are too high.
