Krauthammer: Cruz and his "sidekick," Mike Lee have misled the GOP on Obamacare Posted by Staff
Dr. Charles Krauthammer, Pulitzer Prize-winning syndicated columnist, had some harsh words today for Ted Cruz and his “sidekick,” Mike Lee. Krauthammer likened their strategy to defund ObamaCare to “going into a battle without having a plan.” He explained that the two led their constituents and their GOP Congressional colleagues into supporting a plan, which they knew would be impossible to attain: “These are the generals who lead people into the Battle of Little Big Horn and then go home and have lunch and leave the troops out there. Where are they? Where are the generals? What is their strategy to get the abolition of Obamacare?” Krauthammer argued that it’s time for the GOP to come out from under the leadership of the “kamikaze brigade” and carefully consider how they ought to proceed before hastily engaging in a new strategy.
