The Senate Foreign Relations Committee will hold its hearing on the nomination of Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.) to be secretary of state on Thursday, Jan. 24.
Sen. Bob Menendez (D-N.J.) will oversee the hearing because Kerry is chairman of the Foreign Relations panel.
President Barack Obama nominated Kerry last month to fill the Cabinet seat after Hillary Clinton announced she would not serve another term.
The hearing will be held at 10 a.m. in room 216 of the Hart Office Building. It will also be live streamed.
