James Madison would know who today's extremists are (hint: not the Tea Party)

Amidst all the pig-piling underway against Senators Ted Cruz and Mike Lee, we may pause to think about what the Framers would think of Washington, DC.  What would they consider the bigger threat to America in 2013--the Tea Party and its role in a government "shut down," or those Establishment-types and their role in expanding the power and scope of the federal government?  Steve Hayward has an interesting take in Forbes.
