Here's What Came Out of the North Korea-South Korea Talks
Posted by Staff

North Korea and South Korea sat down for talks in Panmunjom Monday in the first meeting of its kind in over two years. The summit appears to have been successful, for North Korea has announced it is sending a congregation to the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang next month.

The two parties, led by South Korea’s unification minister Cho Myoung-gyon and North Korean unification minister Ri Son Gwon, also agreed on negotiations to resolve problems and military talks aimed at averting accidental conflict, Reuters reports. The positive results come after the U.S. and South Korea agreed to suspend military exercises during the Games. Facebook Fark Furl
