In case you require any additional proof that the Obama administration has absolutely no respect for the rule of law--look no further than the sanctioned immigrant rallies on the Mall today! Despite days of barring World War II veterans from their public, open-air WWII monuments, the White House (note the irony here...) tore down the fences
partitioning off the National Mall and welcomed both illegals and their activists onto federal property. The demonstration, which was organized by Latino groups, the Service Employees International Union, and the AFL-CIO, demanded a pathway to citizenship and an end to the deportation of those who have violated the rule of law by entering the country illegally. Today on the show, Rep. Jim Bridenstine (R-OK) weighed in on this matter, explaining that, “we have an enforcement problem” and, as such, any immigration reform must begin with securing the border and enforcing the laws that are already on the books. When Laura asked the Congressman if he opposed the House going to conference with the Senate to tackle immigration, the Congressman was clear, “that is absolutely correct, no conference.” At least we still have some champions in Washington who are fighting to protect the interests of law abiding Americans.
