New facts have emerged that may shed light on what the Obama Administration knew and when it knew that an impending wave of illegal aliens would hit our southwest border region. Many have wondered aloud about how the White House and DHS could have been caught off guard by the huge increase in the OTMs (other than Mexicans) attempting to cross into the U.S.--especially the minor children who make the journey unaccompanied. Some have publicly speculated that this crisis was purposely stoked by someone with connections to the Obama White House--remember that.Obama's domestic policy adviser is the former head of La Raza Cecilia Munoz. La Raza is among the most militant pro-amnesty organizations in the U.S.
Given the fanaticism of, and huge money interests behind the open borders movement, I wouldn't be surprised if the current alien invasion was encouraged through payoffs and propaganda in Central America. One could imagine an Obamanaut believing the humanitarian crisis, images of penned up children with tear-streaked faces, would force Congress into agreeing to a "comprehensive immigration reform" bill. Remember Obama had promised he'd push one through in his first term; and his base has never let him forget how enraged they are that nothing has been done.
Did the Obama Administration know that this border onslaught was coming? LibertyNews.com provides some circumstantial evidence that it did:
...[T]he Obama administration was bankrolling America’s churches back in 2010. And the tens of millions were flowing in to prepare for the invasion currently underway.
Between Dec 2010 and Nov 2013, the Catholic Charities Diocese of Galveston received $15,549,078 in federal grants from Health & Human Services for “Unaccompanied Alien Children Project” with a program description of “Refugee and Entry Assistance.”
Last year, the Catholic Charities Diocese of Fort Worth received $350,000 from Department of Homeland Security for “citizenship and education training” with a program description of “citizenship and immigration services.”
Between September 2010 and September 2013, the Catholic Charities of Dallas received $823,658 from the Department of Homeland Security for “Citizenship Education Training” for “refugee and entrant assistance.”
