Democrat Demoralization

| The media are falling for this latest ruse from Harry Reid (see Sep@Birth above) that the Senate has reached a "broad consensus" on a compromise bill. This talking point (repeated on all cable channels over past several hours) is being circulated for one reason--to demoralize anti-Obamacare forces across America. Don't fall for it! All along, most canny political observers thought that the "public option" was a red herring, meaning Reid & Pelosi never expected it would remain in the final bill. To pass the bill, there was no way the public option could ever survive, yet they think the voters are stupid enough to think they were flexible and compromising for "giving up" the supposed crown jewel of healthcare reform. The fact is, the public option is just one of countless reasons that this "reform" must be scrapped. It will rob us of what we hold most dear in our private medical lives--freedom. It will wreak havoc on the most vulnerable among us--from the womb to the end of life. Be heard before it's too late: rally at the U.S. Capitol, December 15th, 1 pm...more details to follow. |
