Cuccinelli battles in the name of conservatism
Posted by Staff
As he faces the final days of his uphill battle for Virginia’s gubernatorial election against Clintonite and liberal media darling, Terry McAuliffe, Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli remains unfazed: “the only poll that matters is the one on Tuesday,” he said.  Cuccinelli explained that it is becoming more and more obvious that a vote for McAuliffe is a “vote to import DC politics into Virginia.” For instance, Cuccinelli explained that McAuliffe, who is outspending Cuccinelli at a rate of 25 to 1, is receiving an overwhelming amount of funding from out-of-state special interest groups including NYC’s Michael Bloomberg, “3 million coming in from radical environmentalists from San Francisco, 2 or 3 million from big labor unions, and over a million from planned parenthood.” Cuccinelli insisted that this election will ultimately be won on the issues and not the spin: “They do the name calling and they’re smearing me with all that money they’ve got, but we fight back with substance and we’ve been pretty effective at it.” He argues that as liberal policies continue to prove disastrous, his consistent, unwavering devotion to conservative values will swing the votes back in his favor: “There’s no question,” he insists,”that ObamaCare has created a wave in this race in our direction.” It’s only a matter of time, he argues, before the voter gap closes.
