Congress should get a taste of their own legislation
Posted by Staff
Nancy Pelosi has said that she’s proud to “own” ObamaCare, but does she really own it? She certainly isn’t reaping the full “benefits” of the program (i.e. the fewer choices in health insurance, canceled policies, higher premiums, etc.). Senator David Vitter understands that this is blatantly unfair and that’s why he has been involved in the ObamaCare fight since day one. He’s been working tirelessly to end the Washington exemption for Congress because he wholeheartedly believes that, “Washington shouldn't be full of ruling elite that live by completely different rules than the rest of America.”

Adopt a new attitude today

National Adoption Day is nearly upon us, which means it’s time we ‘adopt a new attitude.’ Congresswoman Michele Bachmann joined Laura today to discuss what has been a bipartisan effort in Congress to raise awareness about the importance of finding all children a “forever family.” Callers from across the country then phoned in to share their adoption stories and explain how adoption has forever changed their lives for the better. One of the listeners, Phyllis, was forced to give up her daughter at seventeen and spent her whole life searching for her. When they finally reunited, her daughter was in her thirties, but they were still able to form a wonderful relationship. Phyllis felt that the adoption had given her a second chance to build a relationship with her daughter that she almost lost. Isn't it time we all adopt a new attitude?
