Is Gov. Christie really the man for the 2016 job? While there is much reason to consider the NJ governor as a viable candidate, the fact of the matter remains that he repeatedly refuses to stand up for the GOP and conservatives when backed into a corner. Now is the time when the GOP needs to stand together to defeat ObamaCare and win back the Senate and the White House. Yet Christie has shown time and again that he is willing to side with the President over his own party. Obama has demonstrated that he is willing to lie and mislead the American people to build his legacy, and it is time Christie woke up and smelled the deception.
Tapper: “If the ObamaCare failures continue, it will be really damaging to progressive politics”
Jake Tapper, host of CNN’s “The Lead with Jake Tapper,” explained how ObamaCare may prove to be detrimental not only to Obama’s presidency, but also to the progressive experiment in general. Tapper warned that, “if the ObamaCare failures continue, it will be really damaging to progressive politics.” When asked whether anyone would have to be held responsible for the fiasco, Tapper was adamant that he “would be amazed if there wasn’t some high profile resignation.”
Don’t call it a game
In recent days, we have been hearing more and more about the horrific “knock out game” that is sweeping the country. While the story has received increasing attention in the media, the vast majority of coverage (like most coverage coming from the liberal media) has not been at all accurate. In all of their coverage, they have continued to perpetuate one glaring error of omission: namely that the vast majority of people who engage in this game are black youths. This is just another example of the liberal media refusing to accurately report the facts out of fear and adherence to the dogma of political correctness. And, as Thomas Sowell has argued, who exactly is being helped by this denial of the facts? Certainly not black families and communities.
