Bridging the divide: the left and right have something in common
Posted by Staff
The media has had itself in hysterics for two straight days demanding that Chris Christie take action against the staffers responsible for “bridge-gate.” In light of the attention the media has given this scandal, we thought it might be useful to review the biggest scandals of the Obama Administration and examine how they were handled.

So, in no particular order:

Who was fired when the IRS revealed that it was targeting oppositional political groups?

Who was fired after the Benghazi scandal, which resulted in the death of four Americans?

And who was fired for the disastrous ObamaCare rollout, during which the president himself repeatedly lied to the American people?

No one.

So why exactly are those on both the left and right so invested in this story? Maybe it’s because both sides have something to gain from this scandal… After all, who besides Christie poses the greatest threat to Hillary in 2016? And who, besides Christie, is best poised to win over the GOP establishment (and leave Jeb and the Bushies out in the cold for 2016)? Looks like both the right and the left have a common interest in pushing Christie out of the running, and they've found a bridge to unite them. Facebook Fark Furl
